As announced by the Federal Council on 08/31/2022, the new law (LPD) will come into force, with amended text, in the fall of 2023, so that companies can adapt in time.
The law adapts the federal government to the new privacy scenario, where the use of data in an automated way or new technologies creates issues that were not foreseen in previous versions of data protection laws
